HB 1587 overwhelmingly passed the House of Delegates yesterday afternoon, 97-2.

Iaquinto Named Housing Advocate of the Year by the Hampton Roads REALTORS Association Chesapeake, VA- The Hampton Roads REALTORS Association (HRRA) is proud to announce that Delegate Sal Iaquinto (R-Virginia Beach) was awarded the 2010 Housing Advocate of the Year award in honor of the great work he has done in the General Assembly to protect homeowners and support homeownership. This year the HRRA created a new annual award to highlight the great work being done by our public servants. The Housing Advocate of the Year award is our way of saying thank you for efforts to improve access to housing, support homeownership, and protect private property rights in Hampton Roads. The award was presented at the Installation of HRRAs 2011 Board of Directors on December 10, 2010.

February 14, 2006 IAQUINTO BILL TO PROTECT CHILDREN FROM SEXUAL PREDATORS PASSES HOUSE UNANIMOUSLY Richmond - Freshman Delegate, Sal R. Iaquinto (R-84), had another bill successfully pass in the House today regarding parental rights. HB 903 provides for the termination of parental rights and responsibilities of a convicted sexual predator where the child is not in the custody of a local board of social services or a licensed child-placing agency. January 27, 2006 IAQUINTO ANTI-GANG BILL PASSES HOUSE Richmond- HB 901, introduced by Delegate Sal Iaquinto passed unanimously in the House today that brings tougher penalties to individuals convicted of a felony. The bill would allow judges to order, as a condition of probation or parole, that criminals convicted of a felony are prohibited from further association with members of street gangs. January 23, 2006 LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR ENDORSES IAQUINTO BILLS Richmond- Lt. Governor Bill Bolling announced his strong support today for three initiatives introduced by Delegate Sal Iaquinto(R-84).
